Conductive Carbon LCD Connectors

The original use of elastomeric connectors was to connect LCD displays to printed circuit boards. Z-Carbon products are made of alternating layers of conductive carbon filled silicone and insulating silicone to make multiple contacts against the ITO of LCD glass.

Z-Carbon connectors are the lowest cost elements of the elastomeric connector family. They are available as a solid strip or with foam or soft silicone insulation on one or both sides. We stock blocks of conductive material and can often ship prototype quantities of LCD connectors in days.
